Hancock Access Area NYDEC
Public Access
New York State Department of Environmental Conservation operates an access point at Hancock. The site is off Bard Parker Road, on the south edge of Hancock Village off Route 97 Hancock Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant. The parking area has room for 20 cars and hand launching of canoes and kayaks, but no boat ramp. The site also has popular picnic tables near the Delaware River and a portable restroom.
The next access point downstream is 1 mile to Buckingham on the Pennsylvania side. The next access point upstream is .5 miles to Shehawken in Pennsylvania.
