Hawks Nest

The Hawk’s Nest area is a scenic location outside Port Jervis, New York, high above the Delaware River on New York State Route 97. It is a winding, cliffside stretch of road that offers breathtaking views of the Delaware River Valley. The area is named after the birds of prey that nest in the region. The Hawks Nest Highway is frequently featured as a destination for drivers and motorcyclists alike and has been used to shoot ads for Porsche, BMW, Saab, Cadillac, and Honda.
The Hawk’s Nest Trail is a moderately challenging trail that takes an average of 39 minutes to complete and is approximately 2 miles long.
