ox Point State Park is a Delaware state park on 108 acres along the Delaware River in New Castle County, Delaware. The park offers scenic picnic areas beside the Delaware River. Visitors can enjoy the river breeze while younger visitors explore the playground and sandbox. The park also has a paved path that offers views of the trains and ships passing by. Visitors can look for birds and butterflies in the meadow as they walk. Resident bald eagles nest and fish near the Delaware River. The park was named in honor of S. Marston Fox, whose efforts helped convert the land from a waste dumping site into a waterfront recreational park.

The park has an excellent interpretive panel that describes the history of the Delaware River. To view the "Timeline of the Delaware" historic marker, select this link.
