Scudder Falls Toll Bridge

Bridge

Photo of Scudder Falls Toll Bridge

The Scudder Bridge carries Interstate 295 over the Delaware from Bucks County, Pa. to Mercer County, N. J. The first completed span (upstream) was phased into service during July 2019. The bridge’s second span (downstream) is expected to open to traffic in late summer 2021. The Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project is scheduled to reach full completion in May 2022.

The Scudder Falls shared use path allows a new NJ-PA connection between the PA Delaware Canal Park and the NJ Delaware & Raritan Canal Park. It crosses over the Delaware River along 295’s upstream span. Walkers & cyclists can now traverse the 1,587 foot walkway between Ewing Township (Mercer County, NJ) and Lower Makefield Township (Bucks County, PA).
