The Prallsville Mills area is part of the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park in Stockton, New Jersey. It is an open-air museum that is also known as Prallsville Mills after John Prall Jr. who bought them in 1794. The park is one of central New Jersey’s most popular recreational corridors for canoeing, jogging, hiking, bicycling, fishing and horseback riding. The park is also part of the National Recreation Trail System. The park has wooden bridges and 19th century bridge tender houses, remnants of locks, cobblestone spillways and hand-built stone-arched culverts which are a tremendous attraction for history lovers.
