Kittatinny Point Visitor Center
National Park Service Site
The visitor center is situated in New Jersey, off of I-80, and offers information, bookstore sales, park passport stamps, junior ranger program, and restrooms. Note: The Visitor Center building is currently closed. The parking area provides access to scenic views of the Delaware Water Gap, a natural landmark formed by the river cutting through the Kittatinny Ridge. Visitors can also enjoy hiking trails, canoeing, fishing, and wildlife watching from the visitor center. The visitor center is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The 70,000-acre park follows 40 miles of the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River through the Delaware Water Gap.
