Cliff Park Inn and Golf Course

The historic golf course is a 9-hole PGA course that is open to the public. The Cliff Park Inn and Golf Course was built in 1913 by Julius Foster, who used it as a tavern and a farm. The inn has 24 rooms, each with a private bath and a view of the golf course or the mountains. The inn also has a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring local ingredients and homemade dishes. The inn is open from May to October, and reservations are required.
The golf course clubhouse is one of the oldest in the USA, and has a distinctive gambrel roof with flared eaves. The course is a championship length, nine hole public course, with a par of 35 and a length of 3115 yards. The course is open from sunrise to sunset, and carts and clubs are available for rent.Both are part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The 70,000-acre park follows 40 miles of the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River through the Delaware Water Gap.
