Alosa River Campsites

Camping

Photo of Alosa River Campsites

Six reservation-only river campsites, called Alosa, are available to boaters on overnight river trips. The shaded campsites are located at river mile 224, just down river of Walpack Bend, on the Pennsylvania side of the river. The Alosa River Campsites can be reserved starting in early June.

The campsites are only accessible by river and are intended for boaters who are on multi-day trips along the Delaware River. The campsites are primitive, but have fire rings, portable toilets, and boat take-outs. Reservations are required for the sites through this link at recreation.gov.
