Public Access
The National Park Service Upper Delaware Information Kiosk, also known as the Mongaup Access Area, is part of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. The site has an information kiosk, picnic areas, seasonal restrooms, parking for 80 vehicles, and connects to the Mongaup River Trail. Carry-in, carry-out access to the Delaware River is through a trail down to the river. Public river accesses in the Upper Delaware are located on both Pennsylvania and New York shorelines. These accesses range from 3 to 20 miles apart along the river and are jointly managed by the National Park Service and the agencies which own the land.
