Belle Haven Marina
This popular marina rents sailboats, sailboards and catamarans for sailors as well as canoes, kayaks and jon boats. It was originally the site of a tobacco warehouse in the 1730s. Belle Haven takes its name from a settlement of Scottish merchants who lived in the area. Today, bass guide boats and river boat rides are available at the Belle Haven Marina. The marina is open from 9 a.m. to sunset daily.
The Mariner Sailing School operates at Belle Haven Marina. This school offers training in basic sailing, cruising, windsurfing, and racing. The Basic Sailing course involves four lessons on a 19-foot Flying Scot.
