Alpacas at Rivers Edge Farm
Farm
River's Edge Farm is a working farm that does double duty as a primary residence and 35 acre working farm on one hand and a unique retreat on the other. The farm, which specializes in breeding and boarding alpacas, is 20 miles from the Cumberland, Maryland I-68 exit. The alpaca breeding herd and a rotating menagerie of horses, goats, ducks and other friendly farm animals are lovingly tended and very socialized. The farm hosts guests and retreat groups in a loft apartment over the main barn. The Potomac River is accessible by trail; the property has a quartermile of riverfront and access to the canal towpath.
