Foundry Branch
D.C. Tributary

Foundry Branch starts in northwest Washington, D.C., and flows underground (through a large pipe) until it reaches Glover-Archbold Park. It is named for the Columbia Foundry established in 1799 by Henry Foxhall. Foundry Branch Valley Park connects to the Capital Crescent Trail and is managed by the National Park Service. A trestle and tunnel connects to the C&O Canal.
