Albany‐Rensselaer Station
Railroad Station
The Albany-Rensselaer railroad station is located in Rensselaer, New York, is located 1.5 miles from downtown Albany across the Hudson River and serves as Amtrak's primary station for the Capital District. The station was built in 1968 and was the third station built on the site. Before 1968, trains stopped at Union Station in Albany.
