Pete & Toshi Seeger Riverfront Park

Park

Photo of Pete & Toshi Seeger Park

Park dedicated to folk singer Pete Singer and his wife Toshi. It was named after the legendary folk musician and founding member of River Pool at Beacon and his wife Toshi. The park was created after several local environmental groups led initiatives decades ago to transform the former landfill at the Beacon waterfront into a park. The park hosts events throughout the spring, summer and fall, from beer festivals to river sponsored fests, corn fest, to a pumpkin fest. It is conveniently located directly off the train and has ample parking close to local breweries and eateries.
