The site is park of the Hudson River Greenway. Features include: Fishing, hiking, kayaking & canoeing, seasonal toilet, picnicking, wildlife watching, cross-country skiing & snowshoeing, and a bike rack. Esopus Meadows Preserve has no fee to enter the park, and it is open until dusk everyday. There are five different hiking trails of varying lengths through forest land, ranging from short walks to nearly a mile in length.
