Stockport Landing is a part of Stockport Flats which is a five-mile, narrow mosaic of landforms dominated by freshwater tidal wetlands, mudflats, marshes and swamps. It is located in Stockport, Columbia County. Nutten Hook at Stockport features the remains of the largest icehouse on the Hudson, which is listed on the national and state historic registers. Interpretive panels relate the history of the ice harvesting industry. The primary purposes of Stockport Wildlife Management Area (WMA) are for wildlife management, wildlife habitat management, and wildlife-dependent recreation. This WMA consists of 357 acres of fields, forested uplands, tidal forested wetlands, tidal marsh, and small areas of freshwater wetlands
