Van Schaack Campsite Kayak Access
Canoe/Kayak Access
The Van Schaack Campsite Kayak Access is located at Bronck Island in New Baltimore, Greene County. The campsite was built by the Hudson River Watertrail Association on land donated to them by Wilbur and Ruth Van Schaack. The campsite has two tent platforms, a nice sand beach to land at, storage racks for kayaks, and a composting toilet with an ADA accessible ramp. The campsite is part of the Hudson River Greenway Water Trail which provides multi-day paddling routes in a rural area of the Hudson River Valley. The campsite is also suggested as a place to spend the night camping while paddling along the Hudson River Greenway Water Trail.
