Congress Street Bridge NY 2
Hudson River Bridge

The Congress Street Bridge is a bridge that carries NY 2 across the Hudson River connecting Watervliet, New York with Troy, New York. It serves as a major commuter route carrying Route 2 over the Hudson River. The bridge was built in 1970 to replace another bridge. The City of Troy is working with the City of Watervliet on the Congress Street Bridge Study to identify ways to improve the connection between two communities. A $5.7 million infrastructure project would create a continuous bicycle and pedestrian route across the Congress Street Bridge to connect Troy and Watervliet.
