Wharf Recreation Pier/Boathouse

River Access Point

The Wharf Boathouse and Recreation Pier is a kayak rental facility in the new Wharf development on the southwest waterfront of D.C. The site offers kayak and paddleboard rentals, tours and classes, standup paddleboard yoga and fitness, private boat storage, and a water jitney for transport across the Washington Channel to East Potomac Park. It is located adjacent to the Wharf Marina and open from April through October.

Tours include a daytime tour along the Washington Channel to Hains Point and East Potomac Park, and an evening tour around Theodore Roosevelt Island, the Kennedy Center, and the Lincoln Memorial.
