Boat ramp on the base of Quantico Marine Base in Prince William County, Virginia, provides access to Quantico Creek near the Potomac. The boat ramp is accessible for large boats only at high tide. The ramp extends about 20 feet into the water from the high water mark and then drops off sharply, making it difficult to launch larger boats at low tide. Anglers age 16 and older fishing these waters must have in their possession a Virginia freshwater fishing license per Virginia fishing regulations, available online at dgif.virginia.gov/fishing. Anglers ages 16-64, inclusive, must also possess a Marine Corps Base, Quantico fishing license. Quantico fishing license is available at the Marine Corps Exchange for $10 yearly or $5 for five days.
