Friendship Landing Boat Ramp

The Friendship Landing boat ramp has access to Nanjemoy Creek in Charles County. It has 17 parking spaces and can handle larger boats. From county route 6, follow route 425 south (Ironsides Road) to Friendship Landing Road east. Nanjemoy Creek is a popular fishing spot for bass, white perch, catfish, and bass. The boat ramp and dock are considered free fishing areas, which means no fishing license is required. Located about halfway up Nanjemoy Creek, it is popular with both power boats as well as canoes and kayaks. Nanjemoy Creek has many miles of nesting areas for Bald Eagles and other wildlife.
