Oxon Creek
Maryland Tributary
Oxon Creek is a short (1.5 miles) stream that is partially in Maryland and partially in Washington, D.C. The creek is located slightly north of the Capital Beltway just before it crosses the Potomac and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. The creek is mostly within the boundaries of Oxon Cove unit of the National Park Service. There are a number of trails parallel to the creek, including the Oxon Creek Trail, and the Oxon Hill Hiker-Biker Trail.
