Harpers Ferry Access
Canoe/Kayak Access Point
Access point on the Shenandoah River near the confluence with the Potomac in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. This is a popular spot for whitewater kayaker and rafters. There is a river access parking area off U.S. 340, but it is a 200-yard path to the river. Another site is located under the U.S. 340 bridge on the West Virginia side of the river. The parking area is located off Shoreline Road has spaces for 15 vehicles. There is a turnoff to Shoreline Road from U.S. 340.
