Coltons Point Marina
River Access Point
Coltons Point Marina was originally built by Bob and Karl Kopel in 1960 and operated as Kopels Marina. It quickly became known throughout Southern Maryland and the Washington DC area as one of the premier marinas and boatyards in the region. In addition to operating a full service marina, the Kopel brothers built wooden yachts throughout the 1970's using traditional construction. Over the years, the marina grew to include 110 covered and uncovered slips, a well-stocked ships store, and a 5,000 square foot maintenance building.
Coltons Point features 110 slips for vessels up to 65 feet, a concrete boat ramp, as well as a marina store. The fee for the boat ramp is $5 per launch.
