The Potomac Riverboat Company offers a tour of the Potomac River aboard the Miss Christin from Old Town Alexandria or National Harbor to George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens, home of America's first President, George Washington. The tour boat departs from Old Town Alexandria's city marina and travel south for a tour of the stately and elegant Mount Vernon, the most popular historic estate in America. The Cruise is narrated, includes a ticket to Mount Vernon. Roundtrip fare of $40 for an adult includes admission fee to the estate, grounds and shops. One way fare is also available. The tour runs once per day Tuesday through Sundays during the summer months.
