Alexandria Washington Monuments Cruise

From Old Town Alexandria's waterfront, this tour goes north on the Potomac River to view the monuments from the water and stops at the Washington Harbour dock in Georgetown. Passengers can purchase one-way or roundtrip tickets. Stopovers are allowed with roundtrip tickets in either Alexandria or Georgetown. Sunset, evening and moonlight tours of the illuminated monuments are especially popular. Sites include Washington's majestic monuments, landmarks, buildings and bridges -- the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Each leg of the cruise is approximately 45 minutes long and the narration is divided evenly between the two departure locations. The tour operates daily, Monday through Sunday every two hours from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm.
The return trip is the Georgetown Monument Tour to Alexandria.
The Alexandria City Marina is also the departure point for the Alexandria-Wharf water taxi and the Alexandria to National Harbor Water Taxi.
