Rochambeau Bridge at 14th St.
Potomac River Highway Bridge
One of three bridges considered at 14th Street in the District of Columbia, the Rochambeau Bridge was named after a French Revolutionary War general who accompanied George Washington in the Battle of Yorktown in 1781. Originally the name "Rochambau Bridge" was used to refer to what is now called the Arland D. Williams Memorial Bridge, named after one of the rescuers in the 1982 Air Florida crash at the bridge site.
