Trinity College Boathouse
Canoe/Kayak Access
The boathouse is the home of Trinity College's rowing program, taking advantage of both Hartford's proximity to the Connecticut River and an indoor rowing facility/crew tanks that are housed in the Ferris Athletic Center. The facility houses 14 eights-person rowing shells, 10 four-person boats, and numerous smaller boats, as well as men's and women's locker rooms, a study room, common room and a land training area. In the off-season, rowers also stay in shape using our 16-seat rowing tanks and 40 stationary ergometers located in Ferris Athletic Center. A boat ramp to the Connecticut River is available for canoe or kayak access and is a popular spot for swimming.
