Canaan Access
Boat Ramp
The town of Canaan manages a river access that serves as an excellent starting point for multi-day trips along the river. The site is located just below the Canaan-West Stewartstown Bridge. It offers long-term parking and an improved access on town owned land, managed by the Vermont River Conservancy.
This site is part of the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail, which includes campsites, access points, and portage trails along the river.
