Falls Road Waterfall
Connecticut River Tributary
The Falls Road waterfall, also known as Slatestone Brook Falls or Whitmore Falls, is located near the Connecticut River in Sunderland, Massachusetts. This picturesque waterfall is a fan type with a total drop of 40 feet. The falls are fully visible from the roadside, making it easily accessible for viewing. However, it’s important to note that the waterfall is on private property, so visitors are asked to respect the landowners and enjoy the natural spectacle from a distance. The waterfall is particularly beautiful surrounded by sea-green colored moss, and it’s best to visit during April to June.
