Photo of Bissell Bridge Boat Ramp

The Bissell Bridge Boat Ramp, located just downastream of the Insterstate 291 Bissell Bridge, provides easy access to the Connecticut River, making it a popular spot for boating enthusiasts. The ramp is wide and concrete, leading directly down to the water, and there is parking available for at least 22 trailers. This facility is part of Windsor Meadows State Park, which is primarily a boat launch into the Connecticut River. Nearby are several hiking trails, including the Bissell bridge Walkway and the Windsor River Trail.

This site is part of the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail, which includes campsites, access points, and portage trails along the river.
