Windsor Meadows State Park, located on the west side of the Connecticut River in Windsor, is a unique and quiet refuge that offers some of the state’s most scenic views of the waterway. The park spans 155 acres and is divided into three sections. The southernmost section, which is the largest and most visited, features the Bissell Bridge Boat Launch and the trailhead for the Bissell Bridge Walkway Trail. This trail connects Windsor to a large system of multi-use trails in Manchester and East Hartford. The northern and middle sections offer a quiet woodland refuge along the river.
