Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry
Connecticut River Ferry
Rocky Hill Ferry Park, located at 350 Meadow Road in Rocky Hill, is a unique location that offers a direct link between Rocky Hill and Glastonbury. The park is home to the nation’s oldest continuously operating ferry service, which runs from April 1 to November 30. The park includes picnic areas, a boat launch and dock, and a handicap accessible fishing pier. It’s a popular spot for boaters with a large state-run launch site. The ferry service is an important transportation link, especially for cyclists, as it’s the only crossing for cyclists between Hartford and Middletown.
