The Pattaconk Yacht Club is a member-run community of boat owners and social members who enjoy the Connecticut River. Located at 61 Dock Road in Chester, the club is predominantly a power boat owners’ club. It provides an economical location for slipping a boat, with easy access to the mouth of the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound. The club offers 125 boat slips in two basins and along Chester Creek. A new clubhouse, constructed in 2015, offers a meeting/dining room and full commercial kitchen on the second floor, a casual members lounge, showers, and restrooms on the first floor. The grounds feature a private, sandy beach, grilling area, and pavilion with picnic tables. A fuel dock and pumpout station are located on the river in front of the Clubhouse. The club also offers six dinners per year and a number of informal barbeques and picnics.
