Connecticut River Island
Eustasia Island is a small islet located in New London County, Connecticut, on the Connecticut River. It’s situated nearby to the locality of Deep River Center and the hamlet of Brockway Landing. The island can be seen on the USGS 1:24K topographic map of Deep River, CT. It’s at an elevation of 6 feet above mean sea level. The island is known to rise out of the water like a little mystery, largely unoccupied but filled with tales to tell. It’s part of the many islands that dot the Connecticut River, each with its unique charm and history.
