The Pettipaug Yacht Club is a membership club located at 145 River Rd, outside the village of Essex. It offers members access to the Connecticut River for sailing, boating, rowing, and recreation. The club is situated across from Joshua’s Rock, Brockway Island, Hamburg Cove, and Selden Creek. It provides a special spot on the river in a shallow tidal basin, making it a great venue for dinghy sailors of all levell. The club hosts an annual Youth Sailing Academy for developing a love of sailing and building the next generation of sailors. The club is also home to a dedicated group of rowing enthusiasts. It offers 125 boat slips equipped with electric, water, cable, and Wi-Fi. The club is known for its impeccable docks, outstanding personal care, and many events.
